Comments:

One time when I took my kids to visit the Volvo factory there was this machine that had a specific rhythm and a sound that stuck in my mind. Much later when I was sitting experimenting with a few Native Instruments software synths I found this bass sound that reminded me of the machine and I remembered the rhythm and recorded the bass line first. Then everything evolved from there. I tried to make the guitar sound as "stringy" and raw as possible while still sounding musical.

Comments:

For some reason I sometimes like to get away from the smooth guitar sounds I usually play and record with. This was sunch an occasion. This tune uses a lot of synths both as harmonic and as rhythmic elements. I wanted a rough feel to it and therefore I used the fuzzy sounds.

Having known Craig Anderton for a number of years and heard him wax lyrical about mangling guitars with software I gave myself the challenge of creating a tune using only one guitar and Guitar Rig 3 (excpet for drums). This is the result

I I saw a video of Craig Anderton doing his live thing with mixing loops on a lap top and playing guitar. That made me go to my computer and throw together this thing. Electronica and/or rock? Who cares as long as it's fun.

A CD that came with a music magazine included a few sounds from the Harman Neuron synth showcasing the sound effects capability of that synth. I figured that there must be a way to make music out of those crazy sounds. So I did!
